THE ROLE

Here at Career.io, we are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our rapidly growing, dynamic team.

As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of office activities, with a particular focus on the financial aspect. You not only manage facility and administrative tasks but are also closely involved in financial administration. From managing office supplies to coordinating invoicing, you ensure that everything runs smoothly. As the first point of contact for both internal and external communication, you contribute to a professional and hospitable work environment.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the HR team, including onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and cultivating a positive work culture
  • Assisting in financial administration, such as invoicing, month-end closing, accounting tasks, and payment processing
  • Serving as a liaison between various departments and external suppliers
  • Managing office inventory and placing orders when necessary
  • Coordinating office maintenance and repairs
  • Welcoming and guiding visitors
  • Assisting in the planning and organizing of meetings, events, and business trips

THE MUST-HAVES

  • Minimum of a completed MBO-4 or HBO degree in a relevant field (preferably financial)
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office and Exact Online
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Residing in or around Breda
