THE ROLE

We’re looking for a German writer and translator who understands on-page SEO and can explain coaching related topics in a friendly, knowledgeable way that is easily understood by readers no matter what their experience level may be. 

You should be able to write, translate and localize to brief and maintain the brand tone of voice. The writer will be assigned to a topic, keyword, and headings to flesh out into a full blog post, which will end up being between 2-3k words in length depending on the topic. 

Preferably candidates would have experience working in a coaching environment or writing about HR topics. 

This is a 100% remote, freelance position. 

THE MUST-HAVES

  • Can write in fluent German and produce ready-for-publication articles that require little to no editing. 
  • Can understand and translate American English well (translate to German)
  • Experience working or writing for HR, career-related topics
  • Can write approximately 4-5 articles per month of varying length (2,500 words average) which are well researched including references 
  • Can adhere to strict deadlines 
  • Can research relevant information
  • Has a working knowledge of coaching 
  • Is comfortable working on Slack and other virtual tools
  • Is familiar with on-page SEO best practice
